The Portfolio of​ Alexandra Van Zeelandt 

My name is Alexandra. 

I'm a professional Actress/Model/Singer from Nashville, Tennessee. I have years of experience in the industry and artistic community. I love what I do. My photographs have appeared in Playboy, Vogue Italia, coffee-table books, print ads, calendars, magazines, art galleries, and most recently  used for Marvel comics illustrator Edward Cherniga. I am also the winner of this years (2013) Nashville Model Of The Year by Elite Business Network. 

I've been in short films, theater performances, improvisational theater training, vocalist in The New Jersey Chamber Singers Choir, starred in commercials, starred/featured in popular CMT country music videos, and I make my first big screen appearance in the movie "The Wolf of Wall Street" directed by Martin Scorsese (for full resume feel free to request). 

 

My goal as a model is to create something of artistic value that is beautiful, inspirational, and memorable; Something the viewer is moved by, and affects them with purposefully conveyed emotion. I believe the one thing that can make or break a photo are the elements behind facial expressions, body posture, and the enviorement. Every photo should tell a story, and have meaning behind it. 

 

The love I experience in acting is far greater then anything I can put into words. You become lost in this person you've either created yourself, or your take and/or  interpretation of real events/people in history. All this while embodying the elements of nature, research, and the creation of the person within to project outwards. Recently, I've become a student of the Stanislavski method, and I've never been happier. I have much more to learn, but I'm on my way to becoming. I am a workin progress.

I'm a compensated model, and I require (at the least) a month's notice before booking. If you're interested in working together please email me for rates and scheduling. I  travel to many various locations/cites, and can travel to your area for photoshoots/auditions. 

 

I will consider non-commissioned shoots for charities such as those encompassing animal rights, saving our eco-system, oceans, the rain forest, wild life preservation, dolphins, whales, sharks, tigers, lions, elephants, rhinos, and all of my magnificent animal friends. All animal rights, humanitarian, and enviormentalist realted issues are extremely important to me. As a caretaker for the Earth and its animals, I feel a responsibility to spread awearness of causes in crisis.
